It was a last minute decision to stay at this hotel. But every part of that experience went smoothly. The check-in process was a breeze. The desk manager had a great sense of humor, as well. The room was clean, well-kept, and the mattress was very comfortable. Wish we could have brought the shower home! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Highly recommended. I was on here on a TV job for a week and the hotel went above and beyond in accommodating my crew and I not just as guests but helped to support our gear and vehicle needs. The rooms were all tidy, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered at a convenient time and the staff was superb all around. The cost was surprisingly low for the location and the quality of service and cleanliness of the rooms!
Stayed in February during ski season. Room are pricey. But then all of the Berkshires hotels are. Room was clean bed was comfortable. Front staff were pleasant. Breakfast was typical nothing fancy but it was good. Pool was open.
Nice family-friendly hotel in Great Barrington area. This is super close to the Housatonic Flats reserve where we did a little hike. The breakfast buffet was great, and there's coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day for self-service. We loved the view of the idyllic outdoor seating from the window of the breakfast room. The hotel offers a small pool and hot tub, and a small gym (we didn't get to use). Overall the facility seems new and well-maintained, staff was friendly. This is also walking distance to several restaurants, including Agean Breeze (we had delicious octopus and lamb kebab there).
STEVEN the front desk manager made my stay, at a Holiday Inn Express, a first class experience! Accustomed to higher level IHG brands,I chose this hotel for its location. I was surprised by the level of professional service rendered by Steven. He is very well groomed & delivered service above and beyond my expectations —— even providing maintenance and house-keeping care —— both well beyond his job titles. If all HIExpress locations have someone like Steven; I will be back, happily.
Great value for the money! Rooms and showers are updated and feel clean. Breakfast was decent and normal to these style hotels. Overall enjoyed the experience and would happily visit here again.
Excellent hot breakfast, easy parking, quiet, and convenient to local attractions including Monument Mountain. Steve as the front desk manager was excellent, and very welcoming. Even told a few stories about the local bears. Ask him.
We did a stop here on a swing through Vermont. We wanted to stop in the area to hit the Norman Rockwell museum, which is definitely worth a visit. Front desk staff is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The person in charge of breakfast was a bit grumpy, but otherwise a very nice stay.
